Ten years ago, I relocated to Snodland from the West Midlands where I had lived all of my life. My decision to move was largely due to wanting to be closer to my daughter and family in Blackheath and my son and his family in Chatham.
I am a committed member of the Church fellowship in Snodland and assist in the ‘Explorers’ Children’s Worship sessions. I am a retired Primary School Teacher and for the last ten years of my career I delivered an expertise for working with pupils with Autism. For recreation, I spend my time travelling and enjoying theatre trips and music concerts.
I am enjoying my role as School Governor and am proud of the school, staff, and it’s pupils. The School maintains a cheerful and welcoming learning environment. Besides the serious jobs we have to achieve as Governors, I enjoy learning about the School Council and all the good work that they do. A particular highlight of the School Year is watching the Year 6 performances in July.
